Copa Casino
Copa Casino Gulfport Quick Review
Copa Casino was originally housed in an aging, docked cruise ship, but has now moved into a permanent pavilion at the Gulfport seaport.
Although I have seen some negative
reviews of the old Copa, the new facility, while not fancy, is a spacious, modern, well-run gaming hall.
Hotel
Copa does not have a hotel.
Copa Casino Location
Copa is located at the entrance to the seaport in Gulfport near the intersection of US-90 and US-49, approximately one quarter mile east of Grand Casino Gulfport.
Parking at Copa
Copa has free valet plus abundant outdoor self-parking.

Copa Casino
Copa Casino is closed.
Destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The former owners of Copa have opened Island View
Casino Resort at the former Grand Casino
Gulfport property, which they bought from Harrah's. Phase I of the resort opened on September 18, 2006, and includes over
1000 slot machines and 14 table games. Phase II will be completed in Spring 2007.

Slots - over 1,200 slot and video poker machines including the latest titles and most popular progressives.
Video Poker - Copa probably has the best inventory of video poker stations including full-pay paytables for a variety of games.
Table Games include blackjack, craps, roulette, and three card poker. There is also a poker room.
Copa Player's Club - in addition to cash back and comps, the club always has a variety of promotions (triple point days, gift of week, sign-up bonuses, and
discounts at local merchants).
Copacabana Sports Bar features big screen tvs, pool tables, darts, food and drink spcials, and bartop video poker.
Dining at Copa Casino
Copa's two restaurants are casual and affordable. Gulfside Grill is open 24-hours a day and serves American
fare, plus regional and seafood dishes (check for specials). Breakers' Buffet serves lunch and dinner, including weekend seafood buffets. Menus at
both restaurants now
also include smoked ribs, chicken, and sausage from Uncle Floyd's Barbeque.
