Palace Casino & Hotel, BiloxiPalace Casino, which re-opened on December 30th, 2005, is a real gem that might get overlooked due to its slightly off-the-beaten-path location, as well as the sheer size and promotional budgets of some of its local competition. While it lacks the big-name entertainment and variety of dining options that some other properties have developed, this medium-sized resort excels as a casually elegant destination with top-notch hotel rooms, a lively casino, restaurants, and a relaxing bayside swimming pool. The resort's plans for expansion will will bring more gaming space, additional restaurants and lounges, and other amenities (construction is expected to be completed in Summer 2011). LOCATION
The Palace Casino Resort has a bayfront location on Howard Avenue in a largely residential neighborhood on Biloxi's eastern tip. Beach Blvd (US-90)
and Biloxi's Casino Row are just four blocks away.
The Palace's hotel rooms are among the nicest on the Gulf Coast (see photos). Upper floor rooms have views of
either the bay and surrounding communities or the Gulf and Casino Row.
Rooms are attractively furnished, and everything is of high quality. Room amenities include
coffee maker, in-room electronic safe, wireless high-speed
internet, hairdryer, make-up mirror, clock radio, iron, plenty of nice towels, etc.
Palace Players Club - Sign up at the players club booth located on the first floor to earn cash back,
as well as complimentary meals and lodging.
Mignon's Steak & Seafood Restaurant, located on the second floor, is the Palace's award-winning, fine dining option.
Fare includes USDA prime grade steaks and local seafood, as well as fine wines. Open for dinner.
Palace Buffet, located on the third floor, features live cooking stations and regional and international
dishes (Southern, BBQ, Italian, and Asian). It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Palace Cafe & Bakery features sandwiches, salads, coffee and pastries. Open 24-hrs.
Wahoo's Poolside Bar & Grill serves salads,
appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, po'boys and seafood platters. It is located on the resort's third floor, and is open seasonally.
Swimming Pool - The Resort features an outdoor pool and jacuzzi situated next to the bay and marina.
The Preserve Golf Club - Packages including lodging at the Palace Resort and a round of golf at The Preserve are available.
