Beau Rivage Casino & Hotel, Biloxi MSBeau Rivage is elegant and luxurious (like Bellagio but scaled down) with the most beautiful hotel rooms in the area. Despite its lavishness, Beau's room rates are usually right in line with much of the local competition. The shops and restaurants lean a bit more towards the upscale here, so serious bargain hunters might want to head on down the road.LOCATION & LAYOUT
Beau Rivage is on Beach Blvd (US90) in Biloxi. Its location
right at the foot of I-110 makes it easy to find and get to. Biloxi's Casino Row is less than one
mile east of here.
The casino, hotel, and parking garage are all conveniently located together on the beach side of the road.
As you enter Beau Rivage from the parking garage, you first stroll through the shopping promenade,
which is beautifully decorated with blooming flowers. Then the scene opens up into the
grand atrium lobby where sunlight shines through the ceiling onto the live trees and lovely flowers below.
Following the path through the lobby leads to more shops, the buffet and finally the magnificent
80,000 square foot casino.
Rising above, is the 32 story hotel tower. Beau Rivage's marina is on the water behind the parking garage and casino.
OWNERSHIP
Beau Rivage is owned by MGM Resorts, which also owns the Gold Strike in Tunica as well as several casino resorts in Nevada (Bellagio, City Center,
Mandalay Bay, and others). The MGM players club card is good at one dozen of the company's properties.
Beau Rivage has over 1,700 guest rooms and suites. These are the most beautiful casino hotel rooms on the coast with the nicest bathrooms.
The standard rooms are large (400 square feet),
and very well appointed by any standard.
Bright floral patterns highlight the bed, wall, and floor coverings (see photos). Everything
looks and feels new, luxurious, and comfortable.
Bathrooms are roomy and accented with Italian marble
flooring. There is a tub and separate shower, plus plenty of mirrors and a telephone.
Beau Rivage hotel rooms are equipped with electronic safe, desk, high speed internet, clock radio,
32 inch lcd television, iron and board, hair dryer, pay per view movies, but no coffee maker.
Beau Rivage's sprawling casino floor is located towards the rear of the main hotel building.
The lighting is subdued, and the table games reminded me of the company's Bellagio, with their ornate
canopies and lighting. Several restaurants lie along the perimeter of the casino
including The Buffet,
BR Prime, Memphis Q, and the Coast Restaurant. If you need some fresh air, there is a large non-smoking slots area, or
step outside to the marina.
The slot selection here is tremendous with all of the old standbys, the latest
video reels, and popular progressives like Wheel of Fortune and Megabucks. There are over 2,100 machines in all.
Table games include blackjack, craps, roulette, mini baccarat, Pai Gow, 3 Card Poker, and others.
Beau Rivage also has a smoke-free, 16 table poker room with daily tournaments, major event tournaments, and
jackpot promotions. Games include Texas Hold'em, 7-Card Stud, and Omaha Hi-Lo.
Players can earn rewards by using their Players Club card at Beau Rivage and eleven other MGM Mirage properties.
The Buffet at Beau Rivage, located right next to the casino floor, serves three meals daily, plus late night sittings during weekends.
Highlights of the buffet include a wood fired pizza oven, pasta bar, an oriental wok station, meats charbroiled from the grill or hot off the rotisserie,
freshly steamed seafood, and southern favorites. Special buffets include Seafood Dinner and Sunday Champagne Brunch.
Terrace Cafe is located off the hotel lobby under an atrium where patrons dine among trees and flowers. This casual
restaurant serves meals 24-hour a day.
The menu includes eggs, oversized salads, burgers (about $9), sandwiches, pasta, plus entrees like steak and seafood (averaging around $20).
Coast Restaurant is a sports bar located towards the rear of the casino, which
serves oversized burgers (about $8.50), sandwiches, pizza ($10-11), steaks, and seafood, and other entrees (most priced $10 to $15).
Catch the game on plasma televisions or enjoy views
of the marina. Open for dinner nightly, and weekend lunches.
Memphis Q Smokehouse and BBQ, also located towards the rear of the casino, has a red-brick facade and 19th century architecture. Diners
enjoy a view of the Mississippi Sound while enjoying steak, ribs, house-smoked chicken, local fish, or catfish platters.
Entrees range from around $11 to $30. Open for dinner.
Jia serves contemporary Asian cuisine, sushi, Teppen Yaki style (live theater cooking), Asian beers, and sake. Open for dinner. Most entrees are
priced $20 to $30.
BR Prime is Beau Rivage's steakhouse. The menu includes dry-aged and wet-aged beef, Kobe ribeye, lobster, stone crab, seafood risotto, and more.
Open for dinner.
More Dining - Beau Rivage also has several other spots where patrons can grab a quick bite to eat. The Roasted Bean, located on the
shopping promenade,
serves coffees, pastries, and sandwiches. Scoops Ice Cream, also on the shopping promenade, sells frozen desserts, smoothies, and candy.
Snacks,
located in the casino, serves overstuffed sandwiches (about eight bucks), salads, and hot dogs. The Pool Bar & Cafe has sandwiches and appetizers.
Coast Nightclub features live music and dancing.
Beau Rivage Theater check their schedule for upcoming headliners.
Swimming Pool overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, with tropical landscaping,
cafe, bar, and cabana service.
Beau Rivage Spa and Salon: Spa includes the latest exercise equipment,
steam room, sauna, whirlpool, and showers. Massages, body treatments, hydrotherapy,

Shopping - about twelve shops line the promenade between the parking garage and hotel lobby on the first floor.
